Today I’m sitting down with Erika Del Sordo who is a former news reporter turned full-time voiceover artist and podcast host. She has the most soothing voice with a very inspiring story to tell.
We touched on a lot of things that I’m sure will make you start to think about your dreams and passion. We talked about how Erika got to where she is, how it lead her to work for herself instead of others. We also talked about how the pandemic affected her work and her podcast show.
Let’s get to know Erika more:
Erika Del Sordo is a former traffic and news reporter from South Florida. She’s also been a voice artist for more than 20 years.
She’s held various positions in radio and television, including writing for the morning show at NBC Universal Miami and reporting traffic on WSVN 7, a Fox affiliate.
Erika also taught broadcasting and writing classes at the Miami Media School and has recorded regional radio commercials.
You can hear some of her work on her website ErikaDelSordo.com.
After 15 years of traffic reporting on radio and television, she made the move to full-time voiceover work in North Florida in 2019.
In March 2020, in the heart of the pandemic, her podcast was born – Today’s Talk with Erika. It’s the show that covers everything in our personal and professional lives.
